Self Tapping Screws
SELF TAPPING SCREWS have been designed to tap their own thread form in the mating material, thus eliminating the need for a separate tapping operation prior to assembly.
Standard self tappers include types AB (gimlet point) and B (blunt point) together with a range of specialised products for use in the plastics and electronics industry, and a range of TRILOBULAR THREAD FORMING SCREWS. Popular head styles include PAN, CSK and RAISED CSK in POZI and SLTD drives. |
